Carey: new DoD cybersecurity plan a “good news story”

The Department of Defense has a new road map for cybersecurity. The DoD Cybersecurity Discipline Implementation Plan is now public, with some fresh updates. It lays out some clear priorities for leaders all throughout the department – and not just IT leaders. Captain Rob Carey (USNR ret.) is former Principal Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Department of Defense. He’s now vice president of Navy and Marine Corps programs at Vencore. Rob explains each of the four priorities the plan details, and how each will help war fighters execute missions more effectively.
