This year is the fifteenth anniversary of the attacks on New York and Washington on September 11, 2001. The attack on the Pentagon that day happened in the middle of one of the biggest renovation projects in American history, and resulted in a one-year sprint, the evidence of which you can still see in the building today. Lee Evey was Program Manager of the Pentagon Renovation Program from 1997 to 2002. He led the Phoenix Project after 9/11 as part of his duties. He discussed his team’s work on National Defense Week.
