Napper: making Cyber Command a combatant command is right move

A push is coming in the US Senate to elevate US Cyber Command to the level of a combatant command. Its Commander, Admiral Mike Rogers, advocated for the elevation at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing back in April. Major General Jennifer Napper (USA ret.) is former director of Policy, Plans and Partnerships at Cyber Command. She’s now Group Vice President of the Department of Defense and Intelligence Group at Unisys. She discussed the proposal on National Defense Week.
