Sullivan: Next round of F-35 improvements should be whole new program

The F-35 program is ready for the next round of upgrades and capability enhancements, according to the aircraft’s program office. The House Armed Services subcommittee that oversees the program heard from several witnesses on the plan for the next round of development, called Block 4. Michael Sullivan is Director of Acquisition and Sourcing Management Issues at the Government Accountability Office. He was one of the witnesses at the hearing. Mike explained his overall message for the committee on National Defense Week.
