Ward: one simple question Air Force should ask about the B21

The Air Force is about to begin the acquisition process for the B-21 bomber. It’s probably going to be one of the most complex acquisitions in history. Lt. Col. Dan Ward (USAF ret.) led acquisition programs when he was on active duty. He’s author of the book The Simplicity Cycle: A Field Guide to Making Things Better Without Making Them Worse, among other books. He writes on LinkedIn about boiling down a 25-page non-disclosure agreement to nine words, and the connection between that effort at simplicity, and simplifying a major weapons acquisition.
