Wiltsie: Army’s NIE puts latest equipment in soldiers’ hands

The Army begins its next Network Integration Evaluation Monday, May 2. It will run for two weeks at Fort Bliss, Texas. Soldiers from the 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division will test and assess new elements of the Army’s network. Doug Wiltsie is Executive Director for the Army’s System of Systems Engineering and Integration. He discussed the purpose, goals, and potential results of the upcoming NIE on National Defense Week.
